  The Mae Hong Son Loop is the classic North Thailand motorcycle trip, a multi-day ride out of Chiang Mai: west over the mountains to Pai and Mae Hong Son, south to Khun Yuam, across Route 1263 to Mae Chaem, and back to Chiang Mai.
